Jéanpaul Ferro

Born in Providence and raised in Scituate, Rhode Island, Jéanpaul Ferro was educated at the New England Institute of Technology, where he earned a degree in Computer Science in 1987. 

His first poems and short stories appeared in The Coe Review and Galley Sail Review in the mid-eighties.  Since then his work has been published around the world in such publications as Barrelhouse Magazine, Juked, Bryant Literary Review, Columbia Review, Birmingham Arts Journal, Magnolia: A Florida Journal of Literary and Fine Arts, Emerson Review, Connecticut Review, Newport Review, Hawaii Review, Cortland Review, Pindledyboz, Identity Theory, The Externalist, Houston Literary Review, Boston Literary Magazine, Review Americana, Bathtub Gin Literary Review, and The Rose & Thorn Literary eZine.  His work has also been translated and published in Japan, China, Serbia, India, and Italy and featured on National Public Radio.

Additionally, he has been nominated for 3 storySouth Million Writer's Awards, 10 Pushcart Prizes, and 2 Best of the Net awards.  His work has also been included in The Plaza's Masterpiece Series.
